Microblading and similar techniques usually last between 1 to 3 years, depending on skin type (especially faster fading on oily skin), sun exposure, and aftercare.
Most clients describe it as mild discomfort, similar to a scratch. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure, which greatly reduces any pain.
Right after treatment, brows may look darker for the first few days. Full healing typically takes 7–14 days, but the final result is visible after 4–6 weeks.
A touch-up is essential and recommended 4–6 weeks after the initial session to fix any areas that didn’t retain pigment well and adjust shape or color. Annual touch-ups are suggested to keep the results fresh.
Avoid moisture, makeup, swimming pools, saunas, and sun exposure for at least 10 days. Do not pick at scabs; let them fall off naturally. Follow the cleaning and healing instructions provided by your specialist.
While very safe, it’s not recommended for people with certain conditions: irritated skin, blood-thinning medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or allergies to anesthetics. A prior consultation is always done to ensure safety.
